...ways rock shore. We kicked off this week, but I'm saying this way because it's been about love. By the time you hear this is probably going to be nearer two weeks since the last show. But we kicked off with the eternal idol with the song called into the darkness, which is from their new album which is due out in November. And you may have realized, those of you who like eternal idle, and I've heard of them before, that they sound a bit different. That is because they've had a new lineup bit in. You A few lineup changes from the original album. And Yeah, to be honest, it seems like it could well be a bit of a kind of an advantasier kind of thing going on there, you know, way to people swapping in and out. There just kind of an impression it because, I mean it's the same kind of power metal limit. So you could end up in forthcoming albums with multiple vocalist mullible guitar players, more base and so on. Well, see how we go us, I mean. But that was a good ustance. So goodnight. Oh dear bet either falling out again. Well, that was it. That was a decent of power metal. That starts off with. So shall we play something will yeah, we'll getting them in the new, new stuff. This one is a band, I believe the from Doncaster, by the name of a joker amongst thieves, and these guys are a bit good. Hi, this is Aaron from...

Paradise Low. See You all listening to weird words rock show, probably the best radio station outside of North nor dream. That's old in the Gulf where I go. I take up. That's old enough. Yeah, you said you take up. You said you take up with a black card. Now it's a lie of life. And you said you take up but chillo. I Wo Wow, that's hold enough. A joker amongst thieves with stump on my heart. Not Bad. That was it, followed by a I got. I gotta said. They really reminded me of Nashville Pussy, which is definitely not a bad thing because, well, I don't know if still going. I hope they are, but Nashville Pussy rrace and that really kind of gritty rock and, you know, high octing rock and roll kind of stuff that the likes of motorhead pioneered. It's just it's it's just good time. Rock and roll really in it. And that was the suicide notes. We take a bullet for me. Keep an eye on them because, you know, I written a live shows are going to be a lot of fun now, I'd shall we go into some traditional heavy metal? I think we all do bit of traditional heavy metal. Ross the boss, you know it. Yeah, former manner war guitar player. He's got his own band. Well, what if he saw what I he solo when we sigh projects? Death dealer, I got a new album coming out sometime in the next couple of months. This is the first single. sorcere supreme, the ancient one,...

...flowers, the Queen. It's it's all. They called me sea. The legis a past its Seaton, post fall. I think it's time for the right guy. The Queen's the Queen. It's a hot tall that's a call me flowers. Now the short existence that we have the sun, we make it queen. Well, you know it is. You could have added slicking professional or you could have add authentic and real, and unfortunately for you, this time out, the dice seemed to have rolled in the way of authentic and real. So, yeah, okay. Well, death dealer with sorceress supreme. Who? Well, any of you who were know your marvel comics, or well, really the marvel films, will know who would Dr Strangers, because that's what the sorceress supreme is, and there's a lot of references in there to the comics anyway, and it seems to be mostly based around the earliest stuff. You know that. I'll talk about the ancient warm and all that. Yeah, not a bad song. And what was I saying? Oh yeah, black tree vultures the unforeseen. That was a bit. Yeah, okay, I'm going to say I'm probably gonna end up saying that was a bit good a lot tonight, but so I'm going to stop myself doing that right now and I want to introduce covered. Oh, whereabouts did...

I first hear this particular version of this song? We think I but it was either blood stock or sonisphere twenty ten. I think he might have been Sonis for your two thousand and ten when I first heard him play live and it replaced the normal cover version that they played, which was a cover of an old disco song. Any close? Now, how about if I say that this the original version of this song and this is about they're any without doing any research. It was. Well, he's off one of the early true heavy metal albums. So we're talking early S and we're talking Aston in Birmingham specifically. So yeah, this is a cover of a classic black Sabbath Song and the band in question are possibly one of the first big finish folk metal bands. I mean when the first came out, the kind of got the genre nickname of battle metal, the fact that's what their debut albums called, which will probably lead you to think. Oh, I, Oh, I know that is. Well, it's Curis ass and you're going to hear them now doing a rather rather good cover of black Sabbath's super not. I wanna ready, I wanna touch you. I'M gonna. I seem to magic. And maybe it's maybe it's from dinner, from Tuesdays Audio. Listen to the Verden ways rock show. It's it's one day on the round when the...

...light stalls, all the Hollow Ground Roster Sho Lords, all the Sacrette ground kill with all light, score store for the ground, score all the rucan grounds im dressed in oh wait to cant at the size infection, see the...

...poison fruit. Still Dad's so stressed in Wa all right, I'm not.

I'm been aware from evil. Yep, are you all listening to weirds rocks? Sure tell they of it. I seem to have gone a bit Waffley, Donna. Well, that was obviously the cuisass with super not, and then I thought after that we got a bit thrashy. So all new stuff, entropy with weapon I storm system, which what right name, followed by heathen, who are definitely back, it would seeing, because you heard the title track from their fourth coming new album, empire of the blind, and then one that I just kind of found rattling around my downloads. I don't really know where it came from, but I tell you what, I'm glad it did. That was stalker with of stealing fire. And who should I see? You was in the spotlight this week. Sorry that this week thing just keep slipping out. Now I am trying to get onto her weekly schedule...

...but you know, it's just sometimes the old brain doesn't let me, and not at a great week this week. So you'll have to forgive me. And Yeah, it's just that. It's just the way the brain rolls. But as it stands, the phloxy team seems to be doing quite well. The counseling, love CBT sessions seem to be working at the moment. Will will see how they go. But yeah, I seem to be having a bit of success in terms of getting me head sorted out. So, you know, fingers crossed on that one. And let's carry on, shall we? Cool covered? No, we've done covered spotlight. Well this week. Spotlight band were originally formed in the early s and apparently were massive in and around Nottingham. That's not even in England, by the way, not any other place that might have stolen its name from that. And round about mid s they'd a bit of a disastrous time because the record deal with Morsley him just evaporated when the record label went bust and that was the kind of start of downard spiral to wear. The singing and guitar player and some of the band leader just well, it committed suicide and then the rest of the band decided that that was it really and it was over. They split up. They carried on doing music in various different ways. I mean one of Oh, what did you say? I think was the bass player. He said he was in a state as coure covers band for years. And then, round about the time that Sabbot were having their reformation and the snape, Martin welcare kind of worked on bringing this original band back together. The idea was to have martin singing and Andy playing the guitar. Rest of the band came in and did it. But the thing is now, I remember. I'm saying this because I actually interviewed the band and what they've said is that Martin's vocals didn't just gel quite with what they want. It's sound. And then I read it in an interview as well that what had happened was that the vocal track that Martin had laid down basically made them sound like it was Sobat doing hell, and that's not what they were after. So the guy who they brought in, Dave, who was the brother of the keyboard player, if I remember correctly, because I'm trying to do this without notes or anything, so this is straight off the top of my head, which is probably why waffling too much. Where was I? Oh Yeah, the guy that they brought in was just going to be there do bit of voice over and a bit of kind of know, do the sort of spooky actor he stuff, and they asked him if he could sing. He said basically I'll have a go, and remember open until this point in this particular guy an actor. It done stage work and he had a bit of a career doing voiceovers on kids shows. Yeah, kids shows. Anyway, there he was, he got asked, can you sing? He said basically I'll give it a go, and when he started doing the songs based on the performed, that the original performance, because what they did was the re recorded the debut album and the debut album for hell was the surviving demos and so on from the original recording sessions and then a re recorded version with some of the new band lineup, so Andy Sneepe on guitar and Dave, whose surname completely escapes me at the moment, doing the vocals, rest of the band being the same, and it turned out to be somewhat of an awesome albument. In fact, I saw them opening the Sunday at blood stock the year the album came out and they were truly awesome. Absolutely stole the show for that day. I owe I think it was twisted sister or headlining that year, and pretty this way, if it hadn't have been somebody like twisted sister, they would have been blown off the stage by Hell. You know, just you could see the stage work, you could see where the singer, Dave, was a character trained actor and so on, because he brought all that on the stage. It was amazing. And when they played again a few years later,...

...the sort of the up to the antie on the showmanship and yeah, even the MRS was impressed and she's not usually as this sort of sort of more traditional heavy metal and she loved them anyway. I've waffled enough and I think you can probably see why I'm playing these guys, because they are would of my absolute favorite bands. This is hell and we'll start off with a track from that very first album that should have been released back in one thousand nine hundred and eighty two. Blasphemy and the master folks. I beg that Black Arts to bear. I'll stay united to Hum mercy, suffers, ter whar, even to the devil. But they who? That's so anger.

I shall never b'day and I was rock close by our healths and so my last eternity. But this is Kep bar from Hell and day bow from hell, Torty Speakman guest rap from Hell. And you'll listening to weird ways rock show, which, approbably, is a weeky part weeky, weeky, weeky, weekly, parted. We must my whole came. Why we should force you to stand round and then the fire squeam. Remain, using every single track too. Smile, welcome, my sad, pleasing...

...blots. The round at your feet, stuff the ground, literally shaking the floor. That's nothing to Brown in the fires. We remain, using every single track to call you, and I smile. Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, beloved reverent. We are gathered here this night in the sight of ally diva, and I'll stab you. Are Jesus Christ, with his Divine Flemission. We dismission shall fulfill and together under the holy pass, deliver us from the keys. But on rel from the day to my dad superstis, which I remember. She said US now you will surely burn it. Sensations and differt voice was non us from evils. Reverend, we are gathered here...

...this night in the sight of our the diva, and I'll say it, are Jesus Christ. We will make me by Divo Christie. It's one Christie to kill and forever on unholy past us. Only pride myself with the bostel going to I would so see. Those three songs were blasphemy and the mass of the original one thousand nine hundred and eighty two version, followed by let battle commence from the reformation album, and then deliver us from evil from their last album, which was about two thousand and fifteen, I think. Now they were planning a new album for two thousand and eighteen, but then Andy sneep got tapped up to sub in for Glen Tipton in Judas praised, and now we've had locked down and well, fingers crossed in fact. YEA, yeah, I've definitely gotten crossed hell will be back at some time in the not too distant because, like I said, the one of my favorite bands and I really want to hear some more new stuff from them. Now, will let's have a really smooth segue now talking of new stuff. Hey, that was good when it proper. Proper segue. Blood face ritual, no more room in hell. Probably could have said something else there, but Siddy, let's have let's just get back to the MEL nor flash. My boys and grassy aren't turning. It's kind of tars around. I'm not going are so God Sun Circle and to go on like a bray from the bay,...

...some flowing friends, one by one, and dust and tell the free soft destruction and Wise Bristes is Fr's about flow. Inside a short there's all. Then your trust us. I don't know. Heads, it is nice rocket...

...and you're listening to the weird ways rock show. This is by side Bot. This is permitted. Following blood feast ritual with no more room in hell.

You heard the return of the super group killer be killed, with one of the front people of that being Max Cavalier, formerly of Sepultura, also of soul fly and oh now, I did see a news item, probably the INBOX, a couple of weeks back, saying that they were getting ready to rerelease the original album. And I to be honest, I thought when I saw this single deconstructing selfdig destruction coming out, I thought I've just done that to you know, just to publicize the rerelease of the Rigel. But no, they're back, second album on its way. Wasn't sure that it ever happen again because you know super group, but it has so looking forward to that one coming out. Finally, and then our band I remember from the old myspace days. In fact they formed the most have formed back can. When would it have been? Somewhere around up two thousand and Sevento eight, somewhere around there. Rusty I song was called. This is permanent. Now then, shall we have some doom. Yeah, this is Mountain Tamor. What a name for a Doom Bandai Song. It's called warlock. I'll kill you the bloods. It's got to be on the weird ways rock show.

This is bones from racer blasses day. Listen to all music, every being about it with the given time. So to die, screaming, everybody on the ground. Story, Sun, different, make money without just for one one got the time. I guess I have nothing. A sorry problem.

How was that for a contrast? Mountain timer with warlock followed by new track from six feet under entitled Ampiatata. Lay It right, we'll keep things taking along nice and heavy and nice and quick with now. I don't know what this band called Lick or lk, but this is uncle funeral anthem and will follow it with some foul body autopsy. Lovely on each other round. So after the realm of the dial day, the darts, alas, life, day, daughters world. There's no days. The darks my stars. I get myself die. There's no adorn for lies breathing as I leave this one behind. My fine got the last of the dray. There's no dad. I left in the darkest sky. I feel, I says. I why forget myself? I forget myself all. He is a Raskis Guitar player from Sepulturam and you are on the weird ways ruck. Show it all, very sure. Show myself back then art right regard, following like a or...

...lick. Not sure. With funeral anthem, I'll foul body autopsy. We've consumed by black thoughts. And Yeah, that's something I know rather well. Oh yeah, okay, maybe this was that was the kind of the wrong song to play with what's coming up next. But this is Russian roulette. You probably wouldn't be Wak all this feature would relat well. The idea as it came off twitter, actually, and the whole idea is you never know what you're gonna Gett you know it's come back to you. I want you...

...to see, I want you everything, as long as it's free. I I want you. Never stood a kissing saying. You know that I want you and you know that I need you. I Want I want you all off. I want to design, because you're critics. I want your psycho. You would stick. Want you when the baby's sick. I want you...

...and you know that I need you. I want your love and I don't want to revenge. I want your loves, your bedroom, your bedroom, very much. What you like to know going this week's Russian roulette selection came from Jenny Rigg. Lives over there in but I think. I think she lives in Brighouse. And Yeah, she's a long time listener and I just thought since we've got new thing going, I just tap her up see what she'll come up with short notice. And well, what she came up with was dear with dream on and with a bit of guitar help from Invigia Mount Stein, hail storm with bad romance and Queen with big spender. Now, the this version that I got there is from the one thousand nine hundred and seventy four performance at the rainbow in Los Angeles and well, it had to be a live version because, as a kind of a policy queen never recorded any cover versions in the studio and put them out as being quite okay. Freddie did. Freddie had the great pretender on his solo album, but the band queen never released any cover versions on any of their albums. So yeah, that it was either that version or the version from the live recording that eventually got sort of paired down to create live magic. And to be honest,...

I prefer that version, you know, the one that I played, because you know it's my share. I get to decide, except in Russian Roulette, although I decided which version place they have that still get to decide anyway. Now, if you want to do Russian Roulette Yourself, which you can dead simple, get in touch with me on either facebook or twitter, or just on the contact form on the website and I tell you what I'm thinking of doing. Actually, what I'm thinking of doing is suggesting that if you want to explain your choices, which you don't have to, you could actually have a chat with me on skype or something, and then we could put that out in the show where you were basically where you get to explain your own choices, don't you? I'm not going to force you to do it, obviously, but if you want to, that option is open. or You could just record yourself explaining why you chose these three tracks and, you know, email it to me however you want to do it. If you don't want to do it again, fair enough. But, like I said, if you want to be on Russian roulette or your choices of music on Russian Roulette, unwaffling again. Anna gain touch through twitter, facebook or the website ww Dole. Up. Weird ways are SCOM and I'll play some more music. This is Elena with as I breathe.
